Male or Female , young or old…everybody loves to kick a ball around and at Kerikeri’s Football Club we give every person the opportunity to get involved , become part of a Team and play the game at whatever level they desire on a Saturday .
Kerikeri has players from 4yrs old to 50 yrs old.
4 to 8 year old become part of our Whole of Football Programm which means they spend around an hour each Saturday Morning at Baysports Waipapa learning the skills of the game in a relaxed , fun environment , grouped with other players of a similar age to themselves.
8 to 10 year old then move into 10th Grade , which means you will be assigned to a Team with a Coach , have one practice session on a weekday afternoon in preparation for your game on a Saturday . Your Team will be entered into the Far North Junior League and will play other Teams from Kerikeri , Russell , Paihia , Kaikohe , Okaihau , Bay Karetu and Oromahoe.
11 to 12 year old also play in the above League in the 12th Grade but on slightly bigger fields and more players in your Team.
. After 12th Grade , players move into the Youth Grades , again , according to age being placed in the appropriate section . These Teams are entered into the Northland Youth League and play games against other Kerikeri Teams as well as travelling to Whangarei for away games against Clubs such as Kamo , Tikipunga , FC Whangarei , Onerahi , Marist and Bream Bay.
Kerikeri Football Club has 5 Senior Teams . The Senior Mens Prem Team , Mens Prem Reserves , Senior 2nd Division Team , as well as two dedicated Womens Teams . The Womens Premier Team and the Kerikeri High School Team.
Every age group is catered for, and with some of the lowest Registration Fees in the Northern Football Federation Region, it is a great opportunity to play Football.
